EVARAACCESS operates evaraaccess.com. This notice explains how information may be handled when you browse our accessibility articles, use the Business Accessibility Journey Checker, or contact us about our work. The details below concern this website; a separate agreement or notice may apply to a paid engagement.

1. Information you choose to share

When you contact us by an available contact method or inquire about consulting, we may receive the name, email address, organization, accessibility-related question, and any other details you choose to send. Please avoid including medical records, diagnoses, or other sensitive personal information unless necessary and a secure, suitable method has been agreed.

If comments or account features are enabled on this WordPress website, those features may collect the details you enter and technical information used for security and spam prevention. Administrative logins use WordPress cookies. Features not enabled for visitors do not require you to create an account.

2. Business Accessibility Journey Checker

The free Business Accessibility Journey Checker is a guided self-review. According to the current checker functionality, your answers, notes, and optional business name are saved in your browser’s local storage and are not submitted to EVARAACCESS by the checker. You can download or copy your summary. Clearing that browser’s site data removes locally stored review information. If you separately send us a report or enquiry, that communication is handled as contact information under this policy.

3. Why we use information

We use information you voluntarily send us to respond to enquiries, consider potential services or collaborations, and maintain correspondence. Technical data may also be processed by hosting, security, and website services to deliver the site, prevent abuse, and understand whether it operates correctly. We do not treat use of the free checker alone as an instruction to contact you.

4. Cookies, local storage and analytics

WordPress and the services active on this website may use cookies or similar technologies for functionality, security, embedded media and, where enabled, analytics. The checker uses local storage as described above. Our WordPress installation includes Google Site Kit, but installation by itself does not establish which Google services or tracking features are connected or enabled. If analytics, advertising tags or embedded third-party services are activated, their data processing and any legally required consent controls must be reviewed and reflected in this notice.

5. Service providers and external websites

Hosting, email delivery, security, analytics (if configured) and other technical providers may process information as necessary to provide their services. Their exact identities and international data flows depend on the site’s verified configuration. Links or embeds from external sites, including social networks, are subject to those sites’ own privacy practices.

6. Retention and security

We aim to keep enquiry records only as long as needed to respond, manage the relationship, meet applicable legal obligations or resolve legitimate issues. Actual retention schedules for the contact and email systems should be confirmed by the site operator. We take reasonable measures to protect information, but no online transmission or storage system is guaranteed to be completely secure.

7. Your choices and rights

Depending on the laws that apply to you, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information, object to certain processing, or withdraw consent where relevant. You can also delete the checker’s local data using your browser’s site-data controls. Send privacy requests using the Contact page. We may need to verify that a request relates to you and may retain information where law requires it.

8. Children and sensitive information

This website is intended to provide general accessibility information and business-oriented resources. Please do not submit sensitive health information or details about another person without an appropriate reason and authority to do so.

9. Updates and contact

We will update this notice as site features and verified data practices change, and show the update date above. For questions about privacy, contact us through evaraaccess.com/contact/.

Transparency note: This notice documents verified website features and distinguishes tools whose configuration still requires operator confirmation. It is not a claim of legal compliance in every jurisdiction. Site-specific providers, retention periods, contact workflows and consent requirements should be checked before treating it as a final jurisdiction-specific legal notice.
