This notice explains how information may be handled when you browse our accessibility articles, use the Business Accessibility Journey Checker, or contact us about our work. 1. Information you choose to share
When you request a free initial review or contact us, we receive the name, email address, business name, optional website and message you provide. Successful website enquiries are stored privately in WordPress for administrator access and are sent as email notifications to our business inboxes. We use Gmail for enquiry correspondence. Please avoid including medical records, diagnoses, or other sensitive personal information unless necessary and a secure, suitable method has been agreed.
If comments or account features are enabled on this WordPress website, those features may collect the details you enter and technical information used for security and spam prevention. Administrative logins use WordPress cookies. Features not enabled for visitors do not require you to create an account.
2. Business Accessibility Journey Checker
The free Business Accessibility Journey Checker is a guided self-review. According to the current checker functionality, your answers, notes, and optional business name are saved in your browser’s local storage and are not submitted to EVARAACCESS by the checker. You can download or copy your summary. Clearing that browser’s site data removes locally stored review information. If you separately send us a report or enquiry, that communication is handled as contact information under this policy.
3. Why we use information
We use information you voluntarily send us to respond to enquiries, consider potential services or collaborations, and maintain correspondence. Technical data may also be processed by hosting, security, and website services to deliver the site, prevent abuse, and understand whether it operates correctly. We do not treat use of the free checker alone as an instruction to contact you.
4. Cookies, local storage and analytics
The checker stores your review in your browser. WordPress uses cookies for administrative logins. Website hosting and security services may process technical information such as IP addresses and browser details to serve and protect the website.
